<h2>Tools and Supplies</h2>
<p>The following items are some of the tools and supplies I gathered to create the Baby Groot costume.</p>
<h3>Tools</h3>

<li><a href="https://amzn.to/2Sx9NhJ">Crochet Hook</a></li>

<h3>Supplies</h3>
<ul>
<li><a href="https://amzn.to/2ELyR1o">Brown onesie</a></li>
<li><a href="https://amzn.to/2Sug4KU">Green</a> and <a href="https://amzn.to/2Q3Zhwx">brown tulle</a></li>
<li><a href="https://amzn.to/2JouUhY">Brown yarn</a></li>
<li><a href="https://amzn.to/2qhQADu">Glitter Iron-On Vinyl</a></li>
</ul>
<h2>How to make a Baby Groot Costume</h2>
<p>My Baby Groot costume consists of 3 parts:</p>
<ul>
<li>A headband</li>
<li>A tutu</li>
<li>A onesie with the text &#8220;I am Groot&#8221;</li>
</ul>
<p>The headband and tutu require a little bit of crocheting. To customize the onesie, you&#8217;ll want a die cutting machine such as a <a href="https://amzn.to/2DdEeVN">Silhouette</a> or <a href="https://amzn.to/2Oe98yg">Circut</a>.</p>
<h3>How to make the headband</h3>
<p>To create the headband:</p>
<ol>
<li>Chain to a length that matches the circumference of the baby&#8217;s head</li>
<li>Skip 2 chains, DC in each chain</li>
<li>Repeat for 5 more rows</li>
<li>Stitch the rectangle together to form a circle.</li>
</ol>
<p>To create the bow on the headband, repeat the previous steps but reduce the length of the chain by an inch or so. Repeat step 3 for 6 more rows instead of 5. Leave an extra long tail.</p>
<p>Attach the bow to the band with the extra long tail.</p>
<h3>How to make the Tutu</h3>
<div id="attachment_3317" style="width: 760px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/baby_groot_costume_halloween_cosplay_diy_guardians_of_the_galaxy_tutorial-2.jpg?ssl=1"><img data-recalc-dims="1" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-3317" class="size-full wp-image-3317" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/baby_groot_costume_halloween_cosplay_diy_guardians_of_the_galaxy_tutorial-2.jpg?resize=750%2C562&#038;ssl=1" alt="Cutting pieces of green and brown tulle for Baby Groot's tutu" width="750" height="562" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/baby_groot_costume_halloween_cosplay_diy_guardians_of_the_galaxy_tutorial-2.jpg?w=750&amp;ssl=1 750w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/baby_groot_costume_halloween_cosplay_diy_guardians_of_the_galaxy_tutorial-2.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w" sizes="(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-3317" class="wp-caption-text">Cutting pieces of green and brown tulle for Baby Groot&#8217;s tutu</p></div>

<ol>
<li>Chain to a length that matches the circumference of the baby&#8217;s waist</li>
<li>Skip 2 chains, DC in each chain</li>
<li>Repeat for 2 more rows</li>
<li>Stitch the rectangle together to form a circle</li>
<li>Cut strips of tulle</li>
<li>Attach the tulle to the waist band alternating between the <a href="https://amzn.to/2Sug4KU">green</a> and <a href="https://amzn.to/2Q3Zhwx">brown tulle</a></li>
</ol>
<h3>How to customize the onesie</h3>
<p>To customize the <a href="https://amzn.to/2ELyR1o">brown onesie</a> with the text &#8220;I am Groot,&#8221; I used my <a href="https://amzn.to/2AAIoEF">Silhouette</a> to cut out the phrase on Glitter <a href="https://amzn.to/2qhQADu">Iron-on vinyl</a>.</p>

<p>If you create your own cut file, be sure to mirror the text before cutting it out. Alternatively if you do not own a <a href="https://amzn.to/2AAIoEF">Silhouette</a> or other die cutting machine you could cut out the text with an <a href="https://amzn.to/2AAImfM">Xacto knife</a>.</p>

<p>Crochet Princess Leia HatWe are just 3 days away from the release of S<a href="http://www.starwars.com/the-force-awakens/" target="_blank">tar Wars Force Awakens</a>!  I am incredibly excited about  the movie&#8217;s release.  Today I&#8217;m kicking off a <a href="https://www.ashleygrenon.com/tag/countdown-to-star-wars/" target="_blank">&#8220;Countdown to Star Wars&#8221; </a>series.  Each day leading up to the release of Force Awakens (and a few days following it), I&#8217;ll be sharing a Star Wars themed project.  I have some fun projects in the works, but let&#8217;s start off with something that will keep you toasty as you journey to the movie theatre this week:  a crochet Princess Leia Hat.</p>
<p><em>Disclosure:  This post contains affiliate links.</em></p>
<p><span id="more-1455"></span></p>
<p>To create the Leia hat, I followed <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/AdairToCrochet" target="_blank">AdairToCrochet&#8217;s </a><a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/201840324/crochet-pattern-star-wars-princess-leia?ref=shop_home_active_1" target="_blank">Princess Leia Hat pattern</a>.  The <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/201840324/crochet-pattern-star-wars-princess-leia?ref=shop_home_active_1" target="_blank">pattern </a>is very well written with lots of pictures.  The project is easy and can be completed within a day.</p>

<p>There are some free versions of a crochet Princess Leia hat, but I really liked the finished look of <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/201840324/crochet-pattern-star-wars-princess-leia?ref=shop_home_active_1" target="_blank">AdairToCrochet&#8217;s version</a>.</p>

<h2>Crocheting the Hat</h2>
<p>With bulky yarn, the hat crochets up pretty quickly.  The buns are long tubes rolled up into a spiral and secured with hot glue.</p>
<div id="attachment_1460" style="width: 510px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/crochet_princess_leia_hat_pattern_star_wars_force_awakens.jpg?ssl=1" rel="attachment wp-att-1460"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1460" class="wp-image-1460 size-full" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/crochet_princess_leia_hat_pattern_star_wars_force_awakens.jpg?resize=500%2C1000&#038;ssl=1" alt="Crocheting Princess Leia's hat" width="500" height="1000" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/crochet_princess_leia_hat_pattern_star_wars_force_awakens.jpg?w=500&amp;ssl=1 500w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/crochet_princess_leia_hat_pattern_star_wars_force_awakens.jpg?resize=150%2C300&amp;ssl=1 150w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-1460" class="wp-caption-text">Crocheting Princess Leia&#8217;s hat</p></div>
<p>If I make a second version of the hat, I will position the buns a little higher.</p>
<h2>The Completed Hat</h2>
<p>I&#8217;m pretty happy with the final results, and I&#8217;ll most definitely be rocking this hat the day I visit the theater to see Star Wars Force Awakens.</p>

<h2>The Tools and Supplies</h2>

<p>Here&#8217;s a list of the items I gathered to make the bonnet:</p>

<p>The Vanna Choice Mustard yarn was leftover from a previous project.  I purchased the Homespun Wild Fire yarn at <a href="http://www.michaels.com/" target="_blank">Michaels</a>.</p>
<h2>Crocheting the Bonnet</h2>
<p>The pattern is well written and easy to follow.  It took a few hours to complete.   The most tedious part, as always, was putting it all together.</p>
<div id="attachment_558" style="width: 614px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/crochetlionmanehatbonnet-3.jpg?ssl=1"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-558" class="wp-image-558 size-large" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/crochetlionmanehatbonnet-3.jpg?resize=604%2C403&#038;ssl=1" alt="Bonnet ready to be assembled" width="604" height="403" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/crochetlionmanehatbonnet-3.jpg?resize=1024%2C683&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/crochetlionmanehatbonnet-3.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/crochetlionmanehatbonnet-3.jpg?w=1500&amp;ssl=1 1500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-558" class="wp-caption-text">Bonnet ready to be assembled</p></div>
<div id="attachment_559" style="width: 614px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/crochetlionmanehatbonnet-4.jpg?ssl=1"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-559" class="wp-image-559 size-large" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/crochetlionmanehatbonnet-4.jpg?resize=604%2C403&#038;ssl=1" alt="Attaching the ears to the bonnet" width="604" height="403" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/crochetlionmanehatbonnet-4.jpg?resize=1024%2C683&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/crochetlionmanehatbonnet-4.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/crochetlionmanehatbonnet-4.jpg?w=1500&amp;ssl=1 1500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-559" class="wp-caption-text">Attaching the ears to the bonnet</p></div>
<p>Once I finished attaching all Homespun tassels, I wanted to give the bonnet&#8217;s hair a little trim.   In the process I clipped the bonnet body and to my horror it started to unravel.   I applied some <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00178MNFO/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B00178MNFO&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=handmwithashl-20&amp;linkId=6DYHU6HCQPT7462C">Fabric Glue</a><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=handmwithashl-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00178MNFO" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0" />, and was able to salvage the bonnet body.</p>
<h2>The Finished Bonnet</h2>
<p>I am very pleased with how the lion mane came out!  I was a little sad that to part ways with it (it will be used as a photo prop for a friend).   I may just make another one for myself!</p>

<div id="attachment_506" style="width: 614px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/caronsimplysoftyarn.jpg?ssl=1"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-506" class="size-large wp-image-506" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/caronsimplysoftyarn.jpg?resize=604%2C451&#038;ssl=1" alt="Caron Simply Soft yarn" width="604" height="451" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/caronsimplysoftyarn.jpg?resize=1024%2C765&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/caronsimplysoftyarn.jpg?resize=300%2C224&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/caronsimplysoftyarn.jpg?w=2000&amp;ssl=1 2000w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-506" class="wp-caption-text">Caron Simply Soft yarn</p></div>
<p>Here&#8217;s a list of the supplies I gathered to make the slouchy hat:</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://www.yarnspirations.com/simply-soft.html" target="_blank">Caron Simply Soft (Off White)</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.yarnspirations.com/simply-soft.html" target="_blank">Caron Simply Soft (Autumn Red)</a></li>
<li>Size I Crochet Hook</li>
<li>Scissors</li>
<li>Yarn Needle</li>
</ul>
<h2>The Finished Hat</h2>
<p>The pattern is well written and really easy to follow.  It took a few hours to complete the hat.  I am happy with the final result, but I like the hat I made using <a href="http://www.michaels.com/impeccable-glitter-yarn/M10198003.html" target="_blank">Loops &amp; Threads Impeccable Glitter</a> yarn more.  The<a href="http://www.yarnspirations.com/simply-soft.html" target="_blank"> Caron Simply Soft</a> yarn is a little thinner so the hat came out size smaller than the previous slouchy hats.</p>

<h3>The Tools and Supplies</h3>
<div id="attachment_410" style="width: 614px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/IMG_1890.jpg?ssl=1"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-410" class="size-large wp-image-410" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/IMG_1890.jpg?resize=604%2C403&#038;ssl=1" alt="Loops&amp; Threads Dewdrops" width="604" height="403" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/IMG_1890.jpg?resize=1024%2C683&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/IMG_1890.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/IMG_1890.jpg?w=1500&amp;ssl=1 1500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-410" class="wp-caption-text">Loops&amp; Threads Dewdrops</p></div>
<p>The following is a list of the supplies I gathered to make the ear warmers:</p>
<ul>
<li>Size N Hook</li>
<li>Loops &amp; Threads Dewdrops (Smoky Quartz)</li>
<li>Loops &amp; Threads Dewdrops (Pearl)</li>
<li>Loops &amp; Threads Dewdrops (Amethyst)</li>
</ul>
<p>I think the Dewdrops yarn had been discontinued.  I searched for the yarn on <a href="http://www.michaels.com/knitting-and-crochet/yarn/809187839?q=loops%20%26%20threads" target="_blank">Michael&#8217;s website</a> and I could not find a listing for it.  I purchased the skeins a couple years ago and they were marked down for clearance.</p>
<h3>Crocheting the Ear Warmers</h3>
<p>The pattern was written with worsted weight yarn in mind.  I modified the pattern slightly to accommodate the super bulky yarn.   I chained 40 and repeated rows 2 and 3 once.  This was a super easy project and each warmer took less than an hour to complete.</p>
<h3>The Finished Ear Warmers</h3>
<div id="attachment_405" style="width: 614px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/IMG_1883.jpg?ssl=1"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-405" class="size-large wp-image-405" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/IMG_1883.jpg?resize=604%2C403&#038;ssl=1" alt="Turban Inspired Ear Warmers" width="604" height="403" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/IMG_1883.jpg?resize=1024%2C683&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/IMG_1883.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/IMG_1883.jpg?w=1500&amp;ssl=1 1500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-405" class="wp-caption-text">Turban Inspired Ear Warmers</p></div>
<p>I am very happy with the results.  I especially love the sequins in the Dewdrops yarn.  It provides a nice sparkle touch.   The warmers perform pretty well in the cool weather too!</p>

<h3> Crocheting the Hat:</h3>
<p>The pattern is very well written and easy to follow.   I was able to complete the hat within a 24 hour time window.  I worked on it between baby naps.</p>
<div id="attachment_338" style="width: 614px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1467.jpg?ssl=1"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-338" class="size-large wp-image-338" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1467.jpg?resize=604%2C403&#038;ssl=1" alt="Hat work in progress" width="604" height="403" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1467.jpg?resize=1024%2C683&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1467.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1467.jpg?w=1500&amp;ssl=1 1500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-338" class="wp-caption-text">Hat work in progress</p></div>
<p>I made a few mistakes as I was trying to learn the surface braid stitch, but I think the mistakes are minor enough that they will only be noticeable to me.</p>
<p>The pattern is advertised for Advanced Beginners.  I think that is an accurate description.</p>

<p>I have not been in the mood for crocheting, but it was the eve of Christmas Day and I was in need of a gift, a handmade gift.</p>
<p>I wanted something that could be completed within a few hours.  I searched the web and I came across this crochet pattern for an <a href="http://www.fiberfluxblog.com/2012/09/free-crochet-patternpavement-infinity.html" target="_blank">infinity scarf</a> by <a href="http://www.fiberfluxblog.com/" target="_blank">Fiber Flux</a>.   I checked my stash for some super bulky yarn,  I found my size N hook, I selected a movie and I was ready to get started.</p>

<h3>Crocheting the Scarf</h3>
<div id="attachment_350" style="width: 614px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1464.jpg?ssl=1"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-350" class="size-large wp-image-350" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1464.jpg?resize=604%2C403&#038;ssl=1" alt="Scarf work in progress" width="604" height="403" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1464.jpg?resize=1024%2C683&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1464.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1464.jpg?w=1500&amp;ssl=1 1500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-350" class="wp-caption-text">Scarf work in progress</p></div>
<p>The pattern was pretty easy to follow and  I finished crocheting it just about when the ending credits for the movie started rolling.</p>
<div id="attachment_351" style="width: 614px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1465.jpg?ssl=1"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-351" class="size-large wp-image-351" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1465.jpg?resize=604%2C403&#038;ssl=1" alt="Waiting on weaving in ends" width="604" height="403" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1465.jpg?resize=1024%2C683&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1465.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1465.jpg?w=1500&amp;ssl=1 1500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-351" class="wp-caption-text">Waiting on weaving in ends</p></div>
<h3> The Finished Scarf</h3>
<p>I normally would not go for pink, but the <a href="http://cache.lionbrand.com/patternDemo/swatchDisplay.html?s=135-146" target="_blank">New Orleans French Berry</a> is a really nice, vibrant color.</p>
<div id="attachment_352" style="width: 614px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1506.jpg?ssl=1"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-352" class="size-large wp-image-352" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1506.jpg?resize=604%2C403&#038;ssl=1" alt="Infinity scarf completed!" width="604" height="403" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1506.jpg?resize=1024%2C683&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1506.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1506.jpg?w=1500&amp;ssl=1 1500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-352" class="wp-caption-text">Infinity scarf completed!</p></div>
<p>Here is a couple pictures testing out the finished work:</p>
<div id="attachment_353" style="width: 614px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1507.jpg?ssl=1"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-353" class="size-large wp-image-353" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1507.jpg?resize=604%2C1007&#038;ssl=1" alt="Trying on the scarf" width="604" height="1007" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1507.jpg?resize=614%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 614w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1507.jpg?resize=180%2C300&amp;ssl=1 180w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1507.jpg?w=1500&amp;ssl=1 1500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-353" class="wp-caption-text">Trying on the scarf</p></div>
<div id="attachment_354" style="width: 614px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1513.jpg?ssl=1"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-354" class="size-large wp-image-354" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1513.jpg?resize=604%2C1007&#038;ssl=1" alt="The scarf is nice and cozy" width="604" height="1007" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1513.jpg?resize=614%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 614w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1513.jpg?resize=180%2C300&amp;ssl=1 180w, https://i0.wp.com/www.ashleygrenon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/IMG_1513.jpg?w=1500&amp;ssl=1 1500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-354" class="wp-caption-text">The scarf is nice and cozy</p></div>
<p>The scarf has a really nice texture, and I really like how the finished project turned out.   I like it so much, that I am seriously considering making one just for myself.</p>
